Domaine de la Janasse, thanks to the great talents of winemaker Christophe Sabon, has become one of the finest estates in the entire Rhône Valley.
Tiny yields from the old vines give great intensity of fruit, while the flavours are preserved by temperature control and expertly sculpted by judicious use of large oak foudres and a small percentage of oak barriques.
Whilst the domaine has built its reputation on the quality of its Châteauneuf-du-Papes and Côtes du Rhône reds, Christophe’s white and red IGP Pays merit similar accolades. From IGP Pays to Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes, the same levels of care and attention are lavished on the wines.
