In 1998, Lynn and Ron Penner-Ash founded Penner-Ash Wine Cellars in Northern Willamette Valley's Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Having spent years sourcing fruit from the area, they brought to life their shared vision of building a reputation for lush, layered Pinot Noir. Lynn and Ron built a gravity-flow winery in the heart of their six hectare estate. In 2016, the winery joined the Jackson Family Wines portfolio, embarking on a new partnership based on shared love for the land and uncompromising wine quality. Penner-Ash continues to source from premier vineyards across the Willamette sub-AVAs, grounded in decade-long relationships with grower neighbours and friends. Specialists in Pinot Noir, they beautifully illustrate the nuances of the terroir.
