Radio-Coteau Vineyards

Radio-Coteau was founded in 2002 by Eric Sussman, a native of New York State who arrived in the California wine scene via an agriculture degree at Cornell University and a stint with a small Washington wine producer. He also worked vintages in Bordeaux and Burgundy, and studied in Beaune, before returning to the US. Radio-Coteau is a colloquial French expression meaning ‘word of mouth’, which is how Eric’s wines are normally discovered, but of course the more literal connotation of ‘broadcasting from the hillside’ has not gone unnoticed. These are particularly intimate, detailed expressions of some of California’s prime vineyard sites.
