Oveja Negra Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Syrah 2017

The Oveja Negra Winemaker's Selection range showcases the spirit of a black sheep; willing to be different and innovative. The wines are rich and fruit-driven blends with flavour intensity and concentration.

The Oveja Negra Winemaker's Selection Cabernet Syrah is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes grown in the Nilahue Vineyard, located in the Colchagua region of the Rapel Valley. Delicate on the nose, this blend reflects a broad spectrum of ripe fruits from cassis and sour cherries from the Cabernet to blueberries, blackberries and floral notes from the Syrah. The firm, but smooth tannins create a good structure on the palate, which has a certain creaminess, a pleasing acidity and smooth, sweet notes on the finish.
