Mulderbosch Chardonnay 2017

Mulderbosch Chardonnay is part fermented in French oak (new and second fill barrels) and aged for 8 months before being blended with tank fermented juice (58%); it is then lightly fined and filtered before bottling.

The resulting Mulderbosch Chardonnay is pale straw in colour with light green hues. Intense citrus blossom triggers the senses, coupled with tangerine, peach, pineapple and understated earthy tones. Roasted almonds hint at the light oaking of this wine. The palate is medium-full-bodied and layered with passionfruit, honey notes and candied lemon rind. Beautifully integrated oak. Minerality and lively acidity contributes to the lingering citrus filled finish.
