Italy | Veneto
North East Italy is bounded by the Dolomites to the north and the Adriatic Sea to the south. Commonly referred to as the ‘Tri-Veneto’ this is an area of Italian wine production made up of the diverse regions of Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Veneto.
These dramatically different wine producing regions when combined together form a powerhouse of Italian wine production, producing millions of litres of wine per year.
However, quantity is not the only story here and their great diversity offer the consumer a myriad of different Italian wine styles from the delicate sparkling white wines of Prosecco to the great, brooding red wines of Amarone.
