Mastrojanni Rosso di Montalcino 2017

Mastrojanni's Rosso di Montalcino is, as always, a delightful expression of fully ripe Sangiovese grapes. The wine is aged for up to seven months in large Allier oak barrels before spending a further three months in bottle prior to release. Bright ruby red in colour the wine offers up fragrant and juicy sour cherry aromas. The palate is intense with a pleasantly tannic and savoury ending.
