The Wine Merchants Pinot Noir Pays d'Oc by Domaine Coudoulet 2017

Nestled in the hills of Cesseras in the Pays d’Oc, Domaine Coudoulet - now run by the sixth generation of the family - has long practised sustainable viticulture. The domaine continues to work with techniques passed down through decades of experience, maintaining respect for the environment and adopting modern techniques. Produced with 100 percent Pinot Noir grapes grown on 13-year-old vines on clay-limestone soil, The Wine Merchant’s Pinot Noir is testament to the extraordinary value that can be found along France’s southern coast.

Bright raspberry in colour with a crisp freshness, this Pinot Noir from the Pays d’Oc offers bountiful red-berry fruit and rounded sweet spice aromas on the nose. Abundant with cherry, spicy oak flavours and textured with delicate, silky tannins on the palate, this Pinot Noir makes for an excellent apéritif but also pairs well with salads, cheeses or light red-meat dishes.
