Paddy Borthwick Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc 2022
Sited on old stony river terraces overlooking the Ruamahanga Riverin the Wairarapa, the family owned Borthwick Vineyard grows exceptional grapes. With minimal intervention and a hands on approach by winemaker Paddy Borthwick, the results are unique, premium, single-vineyard wines. The Paddy Borthwick Wairarapa Sauvignon Blanc is a wine with great concentration. On the nose there is a fragrant lift of spiced stone fruit, tropical fruits with a hint of dark herb notes. The palate is packed with flavour, a core of ripe nectarine and lemon-lime acidity, finishing with great length.
