Muse de Miraval Rosé 2019 - Magnum | 150cl
Launched at the Cannes film festival in 2019, this is the second release of the Muse de Miraval Rosé. Handcrafted in a unique shape bottle (only available in magnums) Muse de Miraval is composed from the finest Grenache and Rolle grapes grown on two of the estate's oldest and finest vineyards. Vinified in egg-shape concrete tanks, this ovoid shape gives rise to a natural convection movement that suspends the lees creating the same effect as bâtonnage, adding texture and body to the wine with no need for stirring. Following fermentation, a small percentage of the blend was aged in demi-muids, the rest aged in concrete until the autumn. The wine was then bottled exclusively in hand crafted magnums. The 2019 Muse de Miraval Rosé is an elegant, pale salmon colour in the glass, with aromas of fresh raspberries, white flowers and subtle notes of vanilla pod. Beautifully textured from the lees ageing, the palate displays racy acidity and concentrated flavours of wild strawberries, citrus fruit and hints of white pepper. Refined, beautifully balanced and complex, this is a serious Rosé from one of the most recognised names in Provence.
