The Lane 19th Meeting Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

The Lane Vineyard 19th Meeting is amongst the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon plantings in the Adelaide Hills. It enjoys a warm Northerly aspect and long North to South rows which maximise sunlight exposure and airflow through the canopy, ensuring even and complete ripeness. A small parcel of post ferment skin contact fills the middle palate and completes the structure that maturation in French oak barrique provides.

The Lane Vineyard '19th Meeting' Cabernet Sauvignon matches smooth, exuberant Aussie fruit with the structure and finesse of an old-world classic. A vibrant plum red in colour the 19th Meeting Cabernet displays classic aromas of violets, cassis, chocolate-mint, plum and tobacco leaf. The palate, whilst complex, is silky smooth, with red and black berries and a subtle clove complexity. Long luscious tannins, elegant, and seamless with a touch of minty freshness.
