Andrew Will Sorella 2012

The Andrew Will Sorella is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominant red wine blend that shows how the Champoux Vineyard continues to produce some of the highest quality fruit in Washington State. First planted in 1972 the 175 acre Champoux (pronounced "Shampoo") Vineyard is located in the Horse Heaven Hills and Block 1, the oldest section, provides the Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine.

Composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with small additions of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec grapes, this full-bodied wine offers up a bouquet of cassis, dark fruit and graphite. On the palate the wine shows well-integrated tannins, bright acids leading to a long and memorable finish.
