Birgit Eichinger Grüner Veltliner Strasse Hasel
Birgit Eichinger's Grüner Veltliner 'Strasse Hasel' is made from 100% Grüner Veltliner grapes grown on the south facing rolling hills of the Kamptal wine region in Austria. The name for this site is derived from the the hazel bush, which thrives under the same moist conditions as the vines. Seeing as the hazel bush makes up a large part of the landscape in the region, this vineyard has been known by the name 'Hasel’ for generations. Clean, crisp and extremely precise this is Gruner Veltliner as it should be. Delicate white pepper wrap around ripe apple flavours with a subtle spicy finish. Mouth-filling yet refreshing this represents excellent value for the quality.
