Birgit Eichinger Riesling Strasse Heiligenstein Reserve Erste Lage 2017

Birgit Eichinger's Riesling Heiligenstein is sourced from the Heiligenstein vineyard regarded as one of Austria's best Riesling sites. Medium straw-yellow in colour the wine offers delightful aromas redolent of peach, white pepper and almond brittle, backed up by deep spice. The palate is enormously concentrated, the fruit pushing forward behind the piquant spiciness, this is succulent and rich with a firm acid structure and long lingering finish.
