Bodega Ruca Malen Kinien 2014
Bodega Ruca Malen 'Kinien' Malbec is a premium red wine from Mendoza made from 100% Malbec grapes. From the Mapuche language meaning “unique,” Kinien is the icon range of wines from Bodega Ruca Malen produced from 100% estate-grown fruit and made only in limited quantities. The Kinien Malbec is layered with aromas of ripe cherries and plums, violets, and smoke. Fresh and juicy on the palate, the sweet, concentrated tannins are balanced by a pleasant acidity. The long finish is marked by a velvety texture with hints of chocolate and a trace of cedar. A wine which will reward extensive cellaring, it is aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months and then in bottle for a further 8 months.
