Castello di Nipozzano Mormoreto 2012

Mormoreto is the top wine from Castello di Nipozzano produced only in exceptional vintages. This is an elegant and rich red wine blend based upon the grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc with additions of Petit Verdot and Merlot.

Mormoreto is ruby red in colour with violet highlights. Aromas of blueberry and blackberry are followed by black cherry and balsamic notes. On the palate the tannins are textured and dense. It is rich and velvety with a very long finish marked by eucalyptus and balsamic notes.
