The aim of Champagne Geoffroy with the Volupté Brut 1er Cru is each year provide the most beautiful expression of Chardonnay grown on the soil of Cumières. To preserve the unique character of the Chardonnay grape, this Champagne is blended differently every year. A delicious, elegant 2009 vintage Premier Cru from Rene Geoffroy, made with 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier grapes. The nose is full of sweet, exotic fruits including lychee, pineapple and pink grapefruit. The palate holds gentle fruit flavours with bolder notes of brioche and fresh butter.
