Champagne Pierre Gimonnet et Fils Special Club 2010

Champagne Pierre Gimonnet & Fils Special Club Vintage Champagne is a wonderful champagne made from 100% chardonnay grapes mostly of which are grand cru and from old vines (50+ years). The special club takes its name from the group of growers who taste and rate each others wines prior to release.

This champagne has fresh acidity, crisp fruits and zesty mineral texture. Apples, citrus and hints of apricots are all there along with an intense tangy character that bursts in the mouth. It’s still so young and needs to age; drink from 2018 at the earliest.
