Château de Lamarque Haut Médoc 2014

Château de Lamarque has recently undergone huge investment and this, allied to natural terroir, results in an excellent value and really high quality Haut-Médoc red wine.

This is fresh and sweet, with pure, aromatic fruit, black and red fruit to the fore, scented with violets. One can sense the peppered character of Petit Verdot and there is already some weight and texture in mid -palate which will continue to do well during elevage. Fresh cherries and red fruit prevail, sherbet and white pepper spice - good effort . Attractive, perfumed finish with a decisive mineral streak.
