Domaine André Dezat et Fils Sancerre Les Celliers Saint-Romble 2019

The Domaine André Dezat et Fils Sancerre Les Celliers Saint-Romble is pure Sauvignon Blanc sourced from 15 hectares of vines over 30 years in age and grown 15 hectares grown in a combination of Silex, Terres Blanches and Caillottes soils. After a long alcoholic fermentation (around 30 to 60 days) at controlled temperature (16-19 °C), the wine is aged on the fine lees for two months, with the first bottling taking place in the spring following vintage. The Sancerre Les Celliers Saint-Romble is pale yellow in colour with light green tints. The nose is expressive with citrus, white flowers and exotic fruit aromas to the fore. Beautiful on entry to the palate with lovely acidity, the initial aromas detected on the nose emerge once again on the palate. This white Sancerre pairs perfectly with food  and works well alongside seafood, fish or goat cheese.
