Domaine Tempier Bandol Cuvée La Tourtine 2016
Domaine Tempier's La Tourtine is an exceptional terroir of just 5.5 hectares. Located near Castellet it is buffeted by the Mistral, but is also exposed to the sun from sunrise to sunset. This is a particularly favourable location for the Mourvèdre vines to thrive and they mature easily on the hillside. The Domaine Tempier La Tourtine Cuvée is predominately Mourvèdre (85%), from vines nearly 50 years old, alongside components of Grenache and Cinsault. Aged in oak for 18 months La Tourtine blends power and elegance and will handsomely cellar for up to 20 years and even longer if so required.
