Doña Paula Selección de Bodega Malbec 2015

The Doña Paula Selección de Bodega Malbec is the result of an assemblage of the estates best terroirs: Finca El Alto, whose soils are mainly clay; Finca Alluvia, which has mineral and rocky soils; and Finca Los Indios, which has calcareous and sandy soils.

At the winery wild fermentation took place with native yeasts at low temperatures. The wine was then aged 100% new French Taransaud barriques, for a period of 14 to 18 months. It was not filtered prior to being bottled.

This is a sumptuous and opulent wine showing rich black fruit flavours, a well textured palate with dark chocolate and earthy notes and an elegant finish.
