Finca Decero Signature Malbec 2018
Grapes for the Finca Decero wines come from the estate’s only vineyard, Remolinos, (named after its tiny whirlwinds) and they are all made adopting the same "Amano" (by hand) philosophy. Four steps of grape selection including double sorting tables, small parcel gravity fed winemaking, basket pressing and meticulous attention to detail ensures that after 14 months maturation in French oak these are wines of substance and show the hallmark elegance of the unique Remolinos Vineyard. The 2018 Decero Malbec continues in the style that characterises the Remolinos Vineyard displaying intense violet aromas over a core of red fruits with notes of cherries and raspberries. Slightly richer in body than the previous vintage yet still very well balanced wine with fresh acidity, it shows supple and elegant tannins that benefit from 14 months maturation in French oak barrels.
