Giulia Negri Langhe Pinot Nero La Tartufaia 2013
In addition to Nebbiolo and Barbera, Giulia Negri also produces a wonderful example of Pinot Noir. In the Langhe, as far North as possible and where constant breezes gush through the vineyards and temperatures reach their coldest point Giulia has planted Pinot Noir. Aged in barriques for approximately 16 months this Pinot Noir is distinguished by elegance and finesse with notes of red fruits, spices and soft tannins.
