Hewitson Ned & Henry's Shiraz 2017
The Hewitson Ned & Henry's Shiraz is the result of a challenge laid out to Dean Hewitson by a good friend of his. The quest was to produce a traditional, full bodied Barossa Valley wine with the only criteria that it could be drunk young at lunch or dinner and did not stray from Dean's fundamental wine making philosophies. French oak, fine grained tannins, balance and clear fruit expression! Those who know Dean well will know that he just love's a good challenge! Deep crimson red in colour Ned & Henry's Shiraz displays aromas of red and black forest berries, French oak and spices. On the palate and explosion of red berries, warm texture, velvety soft tannins balanced with fresh acidity.
