Katnook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Steeped in heritage and tradition, the Katnook Estate Cabernet Sauvignon epitomises 'Classic Coonawarra'. Since 1980, this single varietal red wine has been crafted with fastidious attention to detail. Finely balanced with concentrated fruit flavour and great regional integrity it is delicious now but will reap the benefits of many years cellaring.

Matured for 17 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels the Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is dark plum in colour and displays a complex array of ripe fruit and oak aromas. Vibrant dark berry fruits and subtle notes of cassis and mint combined with hints of chocolate and cedar. A richly layered palate of dark berry fruits with well integrated oak maturation flavours of cedar, dark chocolate and spice. A long, lingering finish with soft, fine grained tannins.
