Katnook Estate Founder's Block Chardonnay | Half Bottle

The Katnook Estate Founder’s Block wines are named in honour of the original land holding of John Riddoch, the founder of Coonawarra. The Founder’s Block wines are styled for everyday enjoyment; they are fruit driven, harmonious and display pure Coonawarra character. The Katnook Estate Founder's Block Chardonnay is straw yellow in colour with aromas of peach, nectarine and zesty grapefruit. Subtle crème caramel and creamy notes add a lovely touch of complexity. The palate offers enticing white peach, pear and citrus flavours with hints of brioche. Rich and creamy mouthfeel balanced with elegant oak and a fresh, lingering finish. Perfect with roast chicken, garlic butter salmon baked in foil or Mediterranean vegetable quiche.
