Kooyong Ferrous Pinot Noir 2016

The single-vineyard Ferrous Pinot Noir is bright blood-maroon in colour. The nose is a vibrant array of redcurrant, wild cherry, mulberry, meadow hay and barky spice. On the palate the wine has a rich savoury note with smoked meats, blueberry, black olive and a touch of Chinese five spice. The tannins are still quite tight suggesting a desire for further bottle age.
