Viña Arana Rioja Gran Reserva 2012
The Viña Arana Rioja Gran Reserva 2012 marks a new beginning for La Rioja Alta, S.A as it is the first Gran Reserva to be released from the winery since the fabled 904 in 1904; they are now the only winery in Rioja to boast three Gran Reserva’s in their portfolio. Following the 890 and 904 Gran Reserva's lead in meticulous winemaking and a traditional style, the Viña Arana Gran Reserva is a vibrant, tasty, elegant wine, intended for a new generation of young wine lovers. The Viña Arana Gran Reserva is a blend of 95% Tempranillo with 5% Graciano, sourced from 40-year-old vines. The parcels are vinified separately, aged in American oak for three years before blending and maturing another 3 years in bottle. As with all great Gran Reserva's this wine will only be made in exceptional vintages, so this inaugural vintage is a fantastic opportunity to begin the journey!
NB: This wine comes presented in beautiful individual gift boxes.
