Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Carménère 2016
The Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Carménère is a wine of elegance, balance and with great potential for ageing. Made from carefully selected hand picked fruit the final blend of this wine is Carménère (85%) alongside Cabernet Sauvignon (15%). Matured for 10 months in French oak barrels (20% new) this wine displays complex aromas of red berry and black fruits together with subtle spicy notes. Elegant on the palate with medium acidity and round tannins together with chocolate and fruits such as ripe plums and sarsaparilla. The finish is well balanced and long.
