Lapostolle Pisco - 70cl | 40% ABV
Named in honour of the founder Jean Baptiste Lapostolle, 'Lapostolle Pisco' is made from a selection of aromatic Muscat grapes, sourced from the Elqui and Limarí valleys of Chile's Coquimbo wine region. The wine made from these grapes is double distilled in a copper alembic still brought especially from Cognac in France, resulting in an intense, pure and smooth style of Pisco. The whole process is overseen by Patrick Raguenaud, the master cognac blender and cellar master from Grand Marnier. Crystalline clear Lapostolle Pisco offers aromas of lemongrass, tangerine peel, and fruits such as green apples and pears. In the mouth the palate is rounded and soft with herbal notes and jasmine floral tones leading to a subtle spicy finish.
