The Lapostolle VIGNO Carignan is a limited release red wine that is part of the wineries 'Collection' range. VIGNO takes its name from the Spanish word for wine "VINO", with a G taken from the grape variety Carignan. The wine is made from 100% old vine Carignan grapes, grown in the Empedrado region of Chile's Maule Valley, the wine is aged for 15 months on lees in 5 year old used french barrels before being bottled unfined and with minimal filtration.
