The Loxwood Meadworks Pure Mead is a crisp, refreshing and delicately sweet mead, that when served chilled, can be enjoyed like a white wine. Just as wine is made from grapes, mead is made from honey; however, unlike many other meads you may have tried before, the Loxwood Pure Mead is created using a unique blend of 100% British honey in the ferment - the process that makes the alcohol. It is fermented dry and then back-sweetened with honey, to give the most natural flavour and a delicate sweetness. This is really refreshing with a light honey flavour and smooth finish. You can enjoy Pure Mead chilled, just like you would with white wine, or alternatively, for a festive twist, warm it with spices to make a delicious Mulled Mead. Pure Mead is a great pairing with a cheeseboard, slow-roasted pork or ham or think anything you might have honey with!
