Lyrarakis Red 2016

The Lyrarakis Red is a blend of Syrah (75%) and the local Kotsifali (25%) grapes grown in the Alagni area of central Crete. Partially matured in oak barrels for 12 months this is a rich, dark red wine with great ageing potential. on the nose there is a delicate balance of delicious dark fruits highlighted by notes of pepper and sweet spice. The palate is rich and long with smooth tannins and a piquant aftertaste.
