Olivier Leflaive Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé 2016

The Olivier Leflaive Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé is sourced from a very steep plot in Rully, on a soil rich in limestone and vines 36 years old. At the winery the grapes are de-stemmed and carefully pressed with a pneumatic press. Maturation takes place for 12 months (4 months in stainless steel tank) and 100% oak - 15% of which is new oak. Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes the Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé displays aromas of white flowers and honey, combined with lemon grass - due to the limestone rich soil. The palate is balanced, ripe and lively in its youth but develops over time.
