Silverado Vineyards Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
The Silverado Vineyards Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from three of the estates vineyards: Silverado Vineyard, Mt. George Vineyard and Oakville Station. The composition of this award winning red wine is Cabernet Sauvignon (85%), Merlot (14%) and Cabernet Franc (1%). Aged in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak for 18 months the Estate Grown Cabernet shows well-defined fruit aromas of Linzer cookies and savoury herbs. A fresh, clean palate with flavours of dark cherry cola, black raspberry, and hints of sweet tobacco. Full-bodied and smooth with a lingering berry finish. Recently awarded 93 points and Gold at the 2020 London Wine Competition, 93 points at the Sunset 2020 Wine Competition, 92 points by Joshua Greene, Wine & Spirits, and 90 points by Virginie Boone, Wine Enthusiast.
