Viña Echeverría Merlot Reserva 2017

The Viña Echeverría Merlot Reserva is made from hand picked fruit grown on the family estate vineyards in the Curicó Valley wine region of Chile. After fermentation the wine is aged in used French oak barrels for 4-5 monthsto add complexity and to acheive softer tannins. The Merlot Reserva is garnet red in colour with purple hues. Intense aromas of strawberries and blackberries combine nicely with notes of black pepper and dried fruits. A juicy and silky mouthful that persists on the fruity finish.
