Viña VIK La Piu Belle 2011

The Viña VIK La Piu Belle is an elegant and complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. The wine takes its name from La Piu Belle the goddess of Millahue and the bottle artwork was especially painted by Gonzalo Cienfuegos as an homage to art, to the importance of art at VIK and the art of winemaking.

Intense red berries and exotic spice dominate the nose, with a gentle herbaceous notes adding interest. The palate is richly fruited, with ripe blackcurrant at the base, upon which rests an edifice of fleshy raspberries and fine menthol. The tannins are fine and grippy.
