Viñas Queirolo Intipalka Syrah 2016

Intipalka means 'valley of the sun' in Quechua, the language of the ancient Inca people. Located in an oasis that is the Valle de Ica the Queirolo family have been growing vines since 1880. The unique desert climate, with warm sunny days and cool nights, produces grapes with delicate aromas, bright acidity and a saline character imparted by the Pacific ocean just 60km away.

The Intipalka Syrah is ruby red in colour with fresh aromas of raspberry and sweet spices to the nose. Medium-bodied, well-structured this is a lightly spiced red wine that combines savoury and fruit flavours on the palate.
