Band of Vintners | Napa County

Band of Vintners was born from a monthly tasting group of seven Napa Valley tastemakers; four illustrious winemakers, a sommelier, a wine executive and a wine importer, each highly regarded among their peers for their contributions to the wine profession. Together, they pooled their resources, talents and relationships to access some of Napa Valley’s best, sustainably-farmed fruit and all the winemaking necessities to get their wine into bottle. The project involves the winemaking knowhow of Stèphane Vivier, the winemaker from Hyde de Villaine and Long Meadow Ranch, Dan Petroski, Winemaker at Larkmead and his own label Massican, Mark Porembski of Anomaly and Zeitgeist and Barret Anderson of Jackson Family Vineyards. A super, well-connected bunch, the fruit hails from top sites, their own projects and little known vineyards of great potential. The result is Consortium, a delicious symphony of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon at a price that is music to everyone’s ear.
