Wine Tasting at Hic!

2026 TASTING SEASON: DRINKING. NOT TASTING

We believe wine is for drinking, not dissecting. That’s why, wine tasting at Hic! ditches the classroom vibes for a pure, unadulterated social experience. No swirling, no spitting, no pretension. Just you, your friends, and a line-up of wines that justify their place at the table.

Our courtyard is your sanctuary. Whether you are here for the story or the session, we provide the setting, the "jibber jabber," and the wines. You do the rest.

HOW IT WORKS: CHOOSE YOUR PATH

Every month brings a new theme, from the neon-soaked "Pretty in Pink" to the chaotic "Stars & Stripes." You simply choose your level of commitment:

1. THE CLASSIC DRINK ALONG (£40 per head)

THE GOLD STANDARD

- 8 x 50ml pours of the month's featured wines.

- Expertly curated, unapologetically premium.

- Includes our essential Tasting Slate (see below).

2. THE DIRTY DOZEN (£60 per head)

THE RIOT(Everything in the Classic, PLUS...)

- A '4-Fizz Prologue' poured fresh from the Enomatic Bubbles machine on arrival.

- 12 glasses total. A proper session!

- Includes our essential Tasting Slate + Gordal Olives.

SUSTENANCE & SIDES

Empty stomachs are the enemy of a good session.

INCLUDED: THE TASTING SLATE Every ticket includes our essential Tasting Slate. This features a curated quartet of artisan cheeses, served as 8 individual crackers to accompany your flight. We select 4 distinct styles (e.g., a rich Delice de Bourgogne or a creamy Cambozola) and serve them in pairs - ensuring you have the consistent creamy notes to balance the whites and the bolder cuts to stand up to the reds.

The Classic: 8 Crackers (4 Cheese varieties).

The Dirty Dozen: The 8 Crackers + a prologue bowl of Gordal Olives.

UPGRADE: THE GRAZING BOARDS For the full experience, we recommend upgrading to our renowned Grazing Boards. When you pre-book a board, we seamlessly integrate your tasting crackers into the main platter. You receive a single, beautifully presented showcase featuring an expanded selection of 8 different cheeses, alongside a premium array of cured meats, chutneys, and breads.

The Cheese Board (£12.50pp): An expanded selection of 8 distinct British & Continental cheeses with chutneys and breads. (Minimum 2 People)

The Full House (£15.00pp): The complete 8-Cheese selection + a curated array of fine charcuterie. (Minimum 2 people)

2026 CALENDAR

MARCH: Women With Bottle: Celebrating the Maverick Queens of the cellar on a global scale. Grace, power, and world-class winemaking.

APRIL: Southern Stars: A frantic journey through the Southern Cross. Four heavyweights. One night. The high-altitude intensity of the Andes meets the sun-soaked power of Australia and New Zealand.

MAY: Iberian Icons: The Bull & The Rooster. From the Atlantic salt-spray to the dust-blown interior. We are pouring the full spectrum of the Peninsula: crisp, saline Whites vs. brooding, muscular Reds. Spain vs. Portugal.

JUNE: Pretty in Pink! This is serious Rosé for serious drinkers. We explore the full spectrum of the pink grape—from the whisper-light elegance of Provence to the deep, structural power of Tavel.

JULY: The Big Bash: Celebrating 250 years of Liberty. The 2026 Semiquincentennial. A West Coast takeover. The blockbuster power of California meets the cool-climate finesse of the Pacific Northwest. Big, bold, and unapologetically American.

AUGUST: Holiday Hotspots (Travel by Glass): The bottles we seek out when the sun hits the horizon. We are touring the world’s favourite destinations - an international guide on what to drink when you get there (and what to drink right here).

SEPTEMBER: Cape Crusaders (Old Vines, New Wave): South Africa is producing the most electric wines on the planet. We explore the collision of ancient granite soils and the cold Atlantic ocean. Pure, wild energy.

OCTOBER: The Italian Job (Renaissance Rebels): A heist of Italy’s most sophisticated wines. We are stealing the best of the boot - not just the "blood-red" powerhouses, but the mineral-laced liquid gold of the Italian white grapes.

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER: Glitz & Gastronomy The Art of the Feast (The Grand Finale): We are extending the session for the festive season with a welcome Aperitif and a closing Digestif. Pure decadence for the festive table.
