1.2 You may order wines, spirits or any other goods by the various methods indicated below (unless otherwise stated). You will have a right to cancel any such order, please see our ‘Return of Goods / Cancellation’ section for more details.

SECTION 2. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
2.1 Your order constitutes an offer to buy from us. When you place an Order, we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your Order ("Order Confirmation"). Please note the Order Confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.
2.2 There will be no contract of any kind between us and you unless, and until we accept your order, and in the case of wines and goods to be delivered to you, when we actually despatch the goods to you. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you.
2.3 If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this and you will not be charged for the goods. This might be because certain goods are out of stock, because we have identified an error in the price or description of the goods, or because we are unable to meet a reasonable delivery deadline you may have requested.
2.4 At the point we accept your order and when the goods are despatched, a contract will be made between you and us.
SECTION 3. DESCRIPTION & PRICES
3.1 The description and prices payable for the items that you order are clearly set out in our website. If by mistake, we have under-priced an item, we will not be liable to provide that item to you at the stated price provided that we notify you before we despatch the item concerned and we may cancel your order provided we refund to you any payments you have made.
3.2 You may agree to pay the correct price in which case we will proceed with your order.
3.3 We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.
3.4 Prices listed on our website are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) per bottle, case or otherwise inclusive of all relevant taxes.

5.2 The Standard UK Mainland Delivery does not provide a service to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland.
5.3 Deliveries within Mainland UK are made within 10 working days after acceptance by us of your order.
5.4 Most orders are delivered by DPD who offer a 1 hour Predict delivery window via text or email. If you are not in to receive delivery, a card will be left by the driver advising you that they have made an attempt to deliver on that day. The card will provide contact details for your local delivery depot so you can contact them to arrange re-delivery or advise of any further special delivery instructions. Please note you will be liable for any subsequent delivery charges that are levied against us by our couriers should your order be returned back to us.
5.5 Notwithstanding acceptance by us of any order, all Goods are offered for sale subject to availability.
5.6 Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.

6.3 You must retain breakages and accompanying packaging for examination by us or our agent if required.
6.4 Please be aware that multi-case orders can become separated through the courier network. If you do not receive the balance of your order within 3 working days of the first delivery please contact us.
SECTION 7. SUBSTITUTES / AVAILABILITY
7.1 All our wines and spirits are offered subject to availability. From time to time some of our wines inevitably go out of stock and we therefore reserve the right to select and deliver to you a substitute (of equal or higher value) to the wine you have ordered, to avoid delay in the delivery of your order.
7.2 If we are unable to supply a particular item, or do not supply a substitute, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged for that item.
SECTION 8. RETURN OF GOODS / CANCELLATION
8.1 If any wine purchased from us fails, for any reason, to give satisfaction, we will replace, or issue a credit for, that bottle of wine provided that the wine is returned to us within 30 days after the date of delivery. (NB: This excludes Bin End Wines & Products described as Non-Returnable)
8.2 Any order placed for goods (to be delivered) may be cancelled within 14 working days of your receipt of the goods. A full refund will be offered provided the goods remain in a saleable condition and that the request to cancel is received in writing.
8.3 You can inform us you want to cancel your order by emailing us at email@example.com, by post, by printing off the model cancellation form and posting it to Hic! Wine Merchants, 23 Main Street, Ledston, Castleford, WF10 2AB.
8.4 If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation.
8.5 A charge of £10 will be payable for collections made by us.
8.6 We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
8.7 Any cancelled order will be refunded to the purchaser via their original payment method, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the date upon which we have collected the Goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the Goods. The refund will include any outbound delivery costs incurred.
8.8 For your protection we strongly recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to return goods. All goods remain the responsibility of you until they are received by us.
SECTION 9. QUALITY GUARANTEE
9.1 We are committed to providing you with an unsurpassed level of customer service. Consequently, if you believe a wine we have supplied is corked or faulty, we will, in the first instance, offer a replacement bottle; or if we are unable to replace the bottle from our stocks, we will offer a credit to the replacement value of the wine providing this falls within our 30 day return period from date of delivery.
9.2 We will ask for the return of the bottle in question, so we can have it tested and report back to the winery from whence it came.
9.3 If a wine has been kept too long or stored inappropriately, we may not be able to offer a refund.
9.4 If you believe a wine to be faulty please contact us on +44 (0) 1977 550047 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to assist you.
