BiancaVigna | Prosecco

BiancaVigna embodies a perfect relationship between people, land and wine, celebrating the beauty and tradition of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills. Founded in 2004 by siblings Elena and Enrico Moschetta, BiancaVigna represents a family legacy that goes back several generations.
It all began with Elena and Enrico’s grandfather, Genesio, who was born in 1903. He dedicated himself to the cultivation of vines on the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. He farmed the vineyards belonged to his father and acquired few more hectares, among which the historic “Vigna di San Gallo”. He was also one of the first contributors to the cooperative winery Colli del Soligo in Pieve di Soligo.
In the 1950s and 1960s, his son Luigi (Elena and Enrico’s father) expanded the family’s property in the historical region, passing down his passion for winemaking to the next generation. Enrico graduated at the Oenological School Cerletti in Conegliano, Italy’s oldest and most prestigious Oenological School, and started working for important wineries in the region, while continuing the work in the family’s vineyards.
Initially, the grapes grown by Enrico and Elena were sold to the local wine cooperative and wineries in Valdobbiadene. But the dream of crafting their own sparkling wines was always deeply pursued.
In the early 2000s, the dream of BiancaVigna came to life. Elena, thanks to her entrepreneurial vision and managerial expertise, involved Enrico in the project. Thanks to his twenty-year experience in winemaking and the fine wine distribution knowledge of her husband, Luca Cuzziol, the dream of crafting sparkling wines from their own grapes became real. In twenty years, their shared passion and expertise brought BiancaVigna wines to be chosen by an increasing number of starred restaurants, leading international hotels and selected wine shops in Italy and around the world.
Today, BiancaVigna has 32 hectares of vineyards, almost all located in the historical Conegliano Valdobbiadene production area. These vineyards, scattered across the 15 municipalities of the denomination, allow us to produce 7 unique styles of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco. Among them, 3 are Rive: single vineyards, the highest qualitative expression of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, grown on the steepest and most suitable hills, expression of the different terroirs of the region.
