Bodegas Ondarre | La Rioja

Bodegas Ondarre, established in 1986 and part of the Bodegas Olarra Group, is one of the most renowned wineries in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.

Ondarre is located in Viana, a historical village 8 kilometres from Logroño (Rioja's capital) with a rich tradition that still preserves the remains of its medieval fortress. Its name comes from a hundred-year-old country mansion owned by the founding family of the winery that is located many kilometres to the north.

Using state-of-the-art vinification technology, new French and American oak barrels for ageing, the range of wines Ondarre produce is comprised exclusively of Reservas, Barrel-fermented Whites and low-production Cava sparkling wines. 

As well as their Reservas they also produce a few thousand cases of a single varietal Graciano. A real rarity due to the low yielding nature of the vine.
