Bodegas Ramon Roqueta | Catalunya

The historic Bodegas Ramon Roqueta Winery is to be found in the D.O. of Catalunya and has a history that goes back over 120 years and five generations of the Roqueta family. The winery was founded in Manresa in 1898 by Ramon Roqueta Torrentó, an enterprising businessman, who planted vines on ancient olive groves ('oliveras') in the foothills of the Catalonian Pyrenees northeast of Barcelona. This area has its own unique microclimate capable of producing very high quality grapes.
