Château Minuty in the Grounds of the Estate

Owned by the Matton-Farnet family for over 80 years, Château Minuty is regarded as one of the finest producers of Provençal rosé in the Côte d'Azur region and in 1955 was one of 23 estates to be certified with the distinguished "Cru Classé des Côtes de Provence", or Classified Growth status.

Overlooking the Bay of St. Tropez, the vineyards of Château Minuty are situated on the slopes of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle. Minuty is one of the last family-owned estates in the Côtes de Provence region to exclusively hand farm, hand harvest and hand sort in order to ensure the grapes are in impeccable shape when they arrive at the winery. Today Jean-Etienne and François run the estate, continuing the family's focus on quality by continuing to restructure the vineyard, replacing the Carignan and Ungi Blanc varietals with Grenache and Rolle and by streamlining the winery equipment to create a modern, state of the art facility.

These are serious, complex wines that are perfectly suited to the cuisine of the region and are a permanent fixture on wine lists in the most prestigious hotels and restaurants on the French Riviera.
