Dehesa La Granja | Castilla y León
Located in Zamora, in the Castilla y León wine region of Western Spain, Dehesa La Granja is considered one of the most beautiful estates in the province. The 18th Century winery was taken over by the Fernández Rivera family in 1998 who planted Tempranillo vines taken from grafts from their Condado de Haza estate. The hallmark of Dehesa la Granja is a 3,000-square-meter underground cave built in 1750, which is dug directly into the limestone rock. Today, the estate produces a rich, luscious, organic red, which is probably one of the best value wines in Spain.
