Terroir Sense Fronteres | Montsant

Established in 2016, Terroir Sense Fronteres is to be found in the DO Montsant and is the project of Dominik Huber, co-founder of Terroir al Limit in Priorat. Located high up on the Montsant Mountain and just a few hundred metres from the DO border of their prized Manyes vineyard in Priorat, 60-year old Garnacha vines produce extremely concentrated, flavour-rich fruit. Planted in a natural amphitheatre of red clay and gypsum, Dominik believes this four-hectare plot holds enormous potential and free from the tight regulations in Priorat, he is able to produce modern, ethereal wines of remarkable precision and purity. Early harvests, whole cluster fermentations, gentle extractions, and a complete lack of oak during the ageing process results in wines of great finesse and a distinctly Mediterranean style.
