Formerly Château des Launes, Ultimate Provence is now owned by Château de Berne and is situated in the heart of the Plaine des Maures around the town of La Garde Freinet at the northern foot of Notre Dame des Anges chapel. Ultimate Provence’s vineyards are certified organic and cover 46 hectares in wild countryside, bordered by a vast evergreen pine forest and sheltered by the surrounding mountains. Resident winemaker, Alexis Cornu, is an innovator who shares Ultimate Provence’s mission to produce wines for pleasure - to celebrate taste, life and this unique corner of Provence. The Ultimate Provence bottles, instantly recognisable by their unique aesthetic and lack of labels, are reusable as everyday decorative objects and capture the region's elegance and distinctive character.
