Château de l'Aumérade Cuvée Marie-Christine Rosé 2025
There are very few bottles in the world of wine that are as instantly recognisable as the Château de l'Aumérade Cuvée Marie Christine. The 2025 release proudly marks the 70th Anniversary edition of its iconic, sweeping glass silhouette. Originally designed in 1956 by Charlotte Fabre - who drew profound inspiration from the legendary French glassmaker Emile Gallé - this bespoke bottle was created specifically to elevate the profile of Cru Classé Côtes de Provence wines. Seven decades later, the estate of Château de l'Aumérade continues to honour that pioneering spirit, presenting a wine that is as visually arresting as it is structurally flawless. Sourced directly from the estate's sun-drenched, mineral-rich clay and limestone soils, this is a masterful, terroir-driven blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah. The nose is an inviting, complex bouquet of delicate white peach, wild woodland strawberry, and a subtle, crushed-seashell minerality. On the palate, it delivers the hallmark sophistication expected from a Cru Classé estate: a taut, driving freshness perfectly balanced by a silky, elegant weight, culminating in a crisp, dry, and exceptionally long finish.
